Dear girls, you are the reason why guys are assholes, lie about themselves, and never want to commit. Because that guy with an 8-pack and a perfect jaw line is all you search for while us nice normal guys don’t get the attention ever. Shit goes both ways. Beauty will always be skin deep until society changes. Wanna know why? Because most of us started off as nice and respectable guys. We gave you all the attention and fell head over heels for you. We would sometimes even gather up the courage to tell you how much we like/love you, only to be rejected by the infamous line “I like someone else” or “We’re good friends”. Girls say that we don’t know how long something we say stays in their head. Trust me, we do. We replay every moment, hurting ourselves. We just don’t show it. We all have an asshole/don’t-give-a-fuck mask on that makes you think we don’t care. Inside, it kills us. Why are we assholes? Because the only kind of guys we ever hear about from you that you have a crush on, are the asshole. The guy who plays every girl. The guy who doesn’t even like you for you. He likes you for your body. That’s the guy you like. So, we love you so much, we turn into him. Just to get your attention. We never want to commit because we’re scared of getting heartbroken again. We know exactly how it feels to see the one you love going out with someone else. It’s like your heart drops from your chest to your stomach.

At that point, it’ll take a lot for us to commit. But it also leaves us desperate for love. The logic behind guys playing girls is that we need love so much because of how lonely and heartbroken we are. We don’t go for just one girl because we don’t want to revolve our world around one girl who might hurt us again. We don’t even believe you most of the time when you say you love us anymore.

And as for the guys who are still being true and not playing girls, they’re the ones who are being treated as “just friends”. They’re the ones you’re hurting the most. Next time your “best guy friend” talks to you, see how he acts. He might be in love with you.
